I would like to start the first post by sharing a little about myself.  I am a self-professed Do-it-Yourselfer.   As long as I can remember I have always found joy and pleasure in making things.  It has often served as a stress reliever. I designed and sewed my first outfit when I was about 11.  My favorite cousin and I made a dress from a pink and green bed sheet for a neighborhood dance performance.      I have tried to make all sorts of things such as clothes, curtains, cornice boards, flower arrangements and I even refinish and paint furniture....
